Dear Sir,

I was over-whelmed and over-joyed with all the interesting information you so kindly sent me about our ancestors. I have copied same and am sending you one of the carbon copies, anlong with the original you sent me.

I am going to make additional copies for Kenneth Dye, in Columbus, another Uncle, Roy Dye in Chattanooga, Tenn., and Lewis Dye, in Mt. Gilead, Ohio. I know they will all be deeply interested.

I was glad to note that Andrew Dye Sr. served as a Revolutionary War soldier and think I shall endeavor to ascertain his record of service. I may be able to do this through the Western-Reserve Historical Society, Cleveland, OH.

Did you ever learn if this Mr. J. Warren Dey turned all the information he had over to the New York Historical Society?

Again thanking you for giving me the information you have, and hoping to have the pleasure of meeting you personally some day, I am

Very truly yours,
Mrs. A. H. Sherer 210 S. Boston Street, Galion OH
