There are two letters to John F. Dye from Sgt. Russell Terry Dye, stationed in China on July 30, 1945. He mentions his father Loyd Dye was living in Mt. Gilead OH in 1945; born in Williamsport, OH m. Ann Bell Terry. His father had one cousin, Flint Dye. (Therefore his grandfather, Russell Dye, had a brother.) No other information gleaned from these.
If any one can link these OHIO Dyes into the rest of us, please let me know.
