Usage
Policy
In order to sign up for services with BuckeyeNet you
must be 18 years of age or older. Persons under the
age of 18 must have their parent or legal guardian sign
up for them. Every user/household gets a two week free
trial once and once only. If you try our two week free
trial and decide not to continue with our services you
may not come back a month or two months later and request
another two week free trial. BuckeyeNet
Services
BuckeyeNet will provide, to the best of its' abilities,
Internet Service to their subscribers. Subscribers
will receive all of the items listed in the package
they have signed up for and agree to pay for additional
features and services. Prices are subject to change
without notification.
Use and Abuse
Services provided by BuckeyeNet are to be used lawfully.
The Internet was designed for information flow and
all around fun for all. Hacking, cracking, spoofing,
freaking and other forms of illegal activity will
not be tolerated. BuckeyeNet, will discontinue service
for any of the above offenses and report the offenders
to the proper authorities.
Spamming via e-mail or News Groups will not be tolerated.
Spamming is defined as "sending out mass unsolicited
e-mail announcing or requesting services". As
they say in the Internet world, you will get flamed
for doing this. Our email servers watch for this kind
of activity and recipients of the email often notify
us. Simple rule to follow, use e-mail for what it
was intended.
Understand that unlimited access and dedicated access
are not the same. Users who consistantly remain logged
on to the Internet more than 12 hours a day should
consider a dedicated Internet connection. With a dedicated
connection you can stay logged onto our systems 24/7.
Payment
Invoices are sent out every month and payment is expected
on the due date of the invoice. Cash, checks, money
orders and credit cards are gladly accepted. BuckeyeNet
will discontinue service to accounts that have fallen
into default and may or may not charge a reconnect
fee. Internet Service is not free and just as you
expect service, we expect prompt payment. If you are
receiving a discounted service rate we reserve the
right to review the information that qualified you
for the discount at any time.
Liability
BuckeyeNet does not accept in any way, shape or form,
responsibility for files or content downloaded or
viewed from the Internet. We highly suggest you use
virus protection software with any computer you use,
not just the one that is on the Internet.
Disclaimer
BuckeyeNet reserves the right to refuse service to
anyone at any time for any reason.
